during the Wings to Australasia Tour sponsored by One Earth Conservation

One Earth Conservation is sending Rev. Dr. LoraKim Joyner, Co-director, to Australasia to learn about the people, ecosystems, and wildlife (especially the parrots) of Australasia. Rev. Dr. Joyner – with over 35 years of experience as a wildlife veterinarian and parrot conservationist, minister, and Certified Trainer in Nonviolent Communication – would love to offer in return a lifetime’s worth of her experiences and skills in parrot conservation in the Americas, and her views on nurturing nature, to the parrots and people of Australia and New Zealand.

Rev. Dr. Joyner also desires to learn about and from the parrots and parrot conservation projects in the region to augment her work in the Americas. She will be accompanied by One Earth Conservation Board member, and her spouse, Rev. Dr. Meredith Garmon.
