CARE, COMPASSION, AND TRANSFORMATION IN THE MIDST OF CRISIS

Facilitated by Rev. Dr. LoraKim Joyner

In this 4 session webinar series we will introduce the theory and practice of Nonviolent Communication and the Five Natural Intelligences to support communication and connection with ourselves, other humans, and other species (such as parrots).

Nonviolent Communication and the Five Natural Intelligences (emotional, social, multispecies, ecological, spiritual) support not just communication, but also relationships with oneself, others, and Earth. By emphasizing the beauty and worth of all individuals, as well as subjective experiences and needs, connection is fostered despite differences and discomfort.  Growing the ability to stay engaged and supportive of others contributes to our well-being as well as to the positive outcomes of our organizations, programs, and campaigns. In this course we seek to see how the next thought, conversation, and action can be transformative, for this is what Earth and her beings need, urgently.

Please join us weekly on Saturdays from 1pm EST to 2:30pm EST from February 15 through March 8, 2025.

THE PARROT'S PERSPECTIVE (This event has ended)

Facilitated by Gail Koelln

Biodiversity is as important to life on this planet as, for example, the air we breathe and the water we drink. Have you ever wondered why that is and what can be done about the current Biodiversity Crisis? This learning journey will explore this topic from a unique angle – the parrot’s perspective.

Please join us weekly on Sundays from 11am EST to 1pm EST from January 5 through February 2, 2025.

If you missed any sessions, you can access recordings here.
